Some Problems in Bearing Roller Tapered Device

Bearing roller tapered are generally separable, that is, cone assembly, consisting of the inner ring with roller and cage assembly, can be mounted separately from the cup (outer ring).

Bearing roller tapered is widely used in many industries such as automobiles, rolling mills, mining, metallurgy and plastic machinery.

The secondary reason of scratches of the bearing roller tapered during the installation process is:the inner ring and the outer ring are skewed during the installation and assembly of the bearing; or perhaps the load in the process of installation and assembly will eventually cause scratches on the bearing.

Please stop immediately according to work specifications while installing bearing roller tapered. Improper installation will cause linear scratches on the raceway surface and bone surface. Deep groove ball bearings indirectly reflect the precision, lifetime and function of bearing.

Inadequate lubrication may cause sharp creaking noise in bearing roller tapered while improper bearing clearance may also lead to metallic sound. Dents in outer ring raceway will cause vibration, making a smooth and crisp sound. But percussive scratches during installation will make noise too, which differ depending on the bearing speed. Indirect sound signifies rolling element may have been damaged. It happens when the damaged surface is crushed. Polluted bearings will cause hissing sound and serious damage will cause irregular and huge noise.

It’s no doubt that bearing failure can be detected by hearing. However, it must be replaced in this case. Therefore, a better method is to use, for example, electronic condition monitoring to diagnose the situation of bearing in advance.
